i will never go back here unless i’m forced. it’s not worth it for the overall experience.

the Bloody Beer is a “chelada”. that’s what mexi’s have for a hangover or just because it’s so frickin’ good. beer + bloody mary or beer + clamato.

Sorry to read you had such a miserable experience. Don’t return, especially considering there are literally hundreds of other options on the Westside. My dinner at Gjelina had a side of attitude, but not nearly to the level you described. My biggest complaint was the food, which was pretty good, but didn’t come close to living up to the hype.

We had the same sort of attitude when we were there they week before — and they seated us at the WORST two seats in the resto. I did enjoy my food though, so do want to come back to try dinner. Maybe the servers/hosts are just grumpy in the morning?

I was very much looking forward to this meal after reading all the rave reviews, but alas, it was quite a letdown for all the reasons you’ve noted. I wouldn’t want to swing by here even for the starwatch possibilities…

Bummer that the staff’s attitude ruined your brunch. In the two times I’ve been there, I got that same “who the eff are you” feeling from them too, particularly the hosts. Meal has always been good, but the waitstaff is usually aloof or clueless.

“The yogurt tastes… yogurty.” True story.
