What’s this what’s this? Korean Air has a roundtrip ticket to Tokyo from L.A. for as low as $540 for a nonstop flight! You have to stay a minimum of three days (easy!) and the fares are valid for travel from September 1 through November 30, 2009. Best part? No blackout days and you can travel any day of the week.
Hurry and book your flight before they sell out!

I wish that was cheap. Maybe from NYC to Tokyo, that would be a deal. Cheap is the $298 (including taxes) RT ticket I got from LA to Madrid a few months ago.
anck,
It IS cheap considering tix to Tokyo are usually over $1,000. But what I wish is that Orbitz or Korean Air had a calendar so you can see which days the fare is $540. Hm.
Wow, Anck, where’d you score that Madrid ticket? $540 LAX to NRT is definitely a good deal — flying over the Pacific tends to cost way more than flying over the Atlantic, distance not withstanding.
Nice find! Great deal indeed. I think is only a few hundred dollars more than the omakase at Urasawa :-O. I’d love to visit Tokyo and see the fish markets.
Pretty good, but not smoking. This past April I went on Singapore airlines nonstop for like $650. April 08 it was United nonstop for like $720.
Why are people complaining about the price? Trust me. I lived in Japan for six years and had to travel between Tokyo and L.A. a lot over that time. This is a pretty good deal!
And I love Korean Air. The cabin crews were always great and the food was not bad. There was always a bibimbap option.
