Nothing says summer like rose, Rhone and barbecue in the great outdoors! The Learn About Wine’s Summer Taste series event on the little grassy lawn in the center of the Grove on July 1 will feature over 12 tables of the good stuff from all over, like wineries L’Aventure, Clos Solene, Zaca Mesa and Highflyer Wines to name a few. And food will be provided by Wood Ranch BBQ at the mall. Mmm, tri-tip sammich.

Now, the regular price for this event is $60 but you can score tickets on Goldstar for only $27.50 ($7 fee). That’s even cheaper than the price for “Taste members” who pay $39 on top of their $100 membership fee! Hope no one tells them that.

BTW, proceeds from this event will go to TJ Martel Foundation, raising money and awareness for Cancer Research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
