It's a real shame because this place was vacant for 10+ years before two young, beautiful women took it over and I would hate to see the place go completely but as it is - it's just kind of a joke. It's empty most of the time and the reason why is.. Some of the appetizers more expensive than the main courses. The chef insists on covering everything in some gross paprika type powder and garnishing every dish with a big sprig of parsley - cutting that out would save them a ton of $ a year. Despite being an Irish bar it has a Tiki themed lounge which has stunning views of the PV peninsula that they totally under value. When sporting events are on, the music is so loud you can't hear the televisions - you have to ask to turn down the music. They have a patio which has absolutely no view when they are on the pier - so badly designed. Because the place is empty when not trying to be a sports bar/Irish pub, they have live bands, concerts and standup comedy which makes watching sports or enjoying an Irish pub impossible. Despite being an Irish bar it has a Tiki themed lounge which has stunning views of the PV peninsula that they totally under value.

When sporting events are on, the music is so loud you can’t hear the televisions – you have to ask to turn down the music.

They have a patio which has absolutely no view when they are on the pier – so badly designed.

Because the place is empty when not trying to be a sports bar/Irish pub, they have live bands, concerts and standup comedy which makes watching sports or enjoying an Irish pub impossible.

I mean they have an all you can drink champagne brunch (five bucks for the champagne). the servers are always really nice, but the food seriously needs help. the second one is Taylors Steak House. Taylors used to be so good. it used to be a gem in the middle of Korea Town. Then they went to plastic menus. Busboys are now servers. which is fine, but steaks come out at the wrong temperature and they also come out cold. it's really lost its magic. I am not sure that Gordon will be able to bring back the golden age or turn it into a Houstons. that's all that I can think of so far. toodles, Karen hello.
