They have an amazing Petite Syrah and their "K" Syrah. Ravenswood makes a pretty good, affordable Syrah. Other wineries up in Amador/Sutter Creek with good Syrah's Terre Rouge, Jeff Runquist, Dobra Zemlja, Karly, Frog's Tooth, and Sobon Estate. Just got back from Nor Cal and stopped in at Convergence.
