maybe you went on an off night? when i went, i thought the service was spot on and super friendly. but i agree that it’s a little vain to be putting your name on everything :P

I am a huge Hollywood proponent of new business and was eager to see what Cafe WAS would bring to the table. I was severly dissappointed by everything from service to the mediocre food and high price points. I think it’s time Ivan takes his name off of everything he touches as he certainly doesn’t have the “midas touch”

Well I stopped by Hungry Cat after for a cocktail and this was the second time I was disappointed. I may have to scratch that off my cocktail to-do list. But I LOVE the Bowery for sure.

Nice write-up, but looks like Cafe Wa S is probably not my cup of tea — price-point seems a bit high and the menu looks like it still needs tweaking (and of course, I already pegged Hungry Cat & Bowery as my faves in that ‘hood). Might stop by there for a less-risky-sounding weekend brunch one of these days.
