The Wine House’s BourBonQ Class: Bourbon Cocktails and BBQ

Oh my lawwwd, this sounds up my alley! The Wine House in West L.A. will be conducting a little something called BourBonQ where it will match a five-course gourmet barbecue menu with bourbon cocktails! And these scrumptious cocktails will be made with the likes of Knob Creek and Maker’s Mark (my faves) as well as Bookers, Bakers and Jim Beam. What a perfect way to celebrate September as National Bourbon Heritage month (yes, it’s an actual event): BBQ and lots o’ bourbon.
Call (310) 479-3731 or (800) 626-WINE to make your reservations right away. I just called and there are still spots available. The “class” is $89 — nice for five cocktails, tasty viddles and learning stuff.

I feel ya. Actually I can’t go either as I’m saving up for my move. I’m really sad about not being able to go.
