I feel really guilty that I didn’t blog today or this past weekend for that matter considering that I took a Hipcooks cocktail class at the new Westside location, I tried the Sunday prix-fixe dinner at the “redesigned” Violet and sampled many new cocktails.
But since I’ve come down with an annoying cold/flu or whatever it is that’s preventing me from thinking clearly I’ll have to save those posts for another time. Sorry. I feel really guilty. I know, this has no bearing on your everyday life but it does on mine!

Eh. Chicken soup of course. Cans on sale yesterday at Ralph’s market. Not as good as home made but I imagine you don’t feel up to going out and buying a chicken.
Aww, thanks, you guys! Actually I’m doing a Vitamin C blast on this bug. Hopefully that’ll take care of it.
Ok, so here’s my Rx:
- Lots of Emergen-C
- Pomegranate Tea
- Salt water nasal rinse (It works, I promise!)
- Aspirin for the aches
- Claritin for the stuffy nose
- Chicken soup, and lots of it

A good thing is to gargle with some chilled vodka ( don’t drink it), it helps to kill the bacterias and disinfects.
Very interesting treatments. I think I might be too tempted to swallow the chilled vodka.
Chicken soup & OJ does wonders in boosting the immune system. Steamed/boiled dumplings are pretty good too.
In any case, hope you get some R&R and better soon!
