For me, girly drinks are the ones where spirits are more background than the dominating flavor (as is the case with many fruit-based cocktails). But of course, that doesn't mean they can't be delish. The Providence cocktails seemed to be more about juices and nectars. What's the difference? The former are way too sugary and rich while the latter are naturally sweet making them subtle and more flavor-enhancing rather than overpowering.
