What is the proper or best “frosting-to-cake” ratio that people have found for cupcakes?

I tried having them delivered. Don’t bother. They’re great but it is a little too much for Crumbs to handle and they’ll arrive late and stale.

These cupcakes are, handsdown, the best. You guys are insane. Their cakes have the perfect consistency. The frosting (especially the artie lange and the strawberry cream cheese) are to die for. I was a Sprinkles fan, but no more. All Crumbs, all the time. I give considerable attention to Yummy Cupcakes in Santa Monica, for they are almost as good.

The key to Crumbs is the bite size cupcakes. They sell them by the dozens and they are perfection.

Considering it’s about 25-50 cents more than a Sprinkles cupcake, you get a lot. But yeah, I don’t think I want THAT much cupcake.

Hmm, people keep saying they like Dainties but I wasn’t all that crazy about ‘em since they are all Devil’s Food with just different flavor frosting. But then again, it IS just down the street from me.

OR if people do that much frosting maybe don’t make it so sweet. There’s was sooo sugary.
