The Wine House’s Taste: Opening Week

Picture 1.png

West L.A’s Wine House, one of my favorite wine stores, is taking a hint from Vinum Populi with its wine sampling room — aka “automated in-store wine tasting area” — where, like VP you can purchase a card to pay for a taste of the different wines available.

Thirty-two wines (11 Californian, 6 Italian, 11 French, 1 Kiwi, 1 Australian, 1 Argentinian, 1 German) are offered, ranging from the $1 a taste for the 2003 Mattei Barbera to $14 a taste for the 1996 Guigal Cote Rotie “D’Ampuis.”

Opening week for the room starts today. Hours are 11am-6pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday.
