One of my favorite movies evuh! is playing tonight at one of my fave Hollywood bars evuh! Tiny’s K.O. for tonight’s Movie Monday night. AND they have happy-hour priced food to snack on while you watch the fall of the Heathers and maybe even quote along. My fave? “Fuck me gently with a chainsaw.” Heathers was one of those movies when I was growing up that me and my sibs would quote all the time..along with Aliens movie quotes and Evil Dead II. But, definitely, the best high school dialogue ever. Should be fun to watch in a bar with a bunch of drunkards. See you there!

Boo! Went here last night after an hour commute from Santa Monica only to find out that they weren’t showing Heathers cuz their projector was broken. But then sat down and ordered up some food and had a Stella and chatted with the nice bartender and then all was right with the world.
I think this movie was post Coreys if you consider the Era of the Coreys to be when they were actually working. But if the Era of the Coreys was when they were boozing it up, spending the money they made in child labor, then “Heathers” was “in media the Era of the Coreys.
Caro, what do you mean “their projector was boring”?
Ooops! I meant “broken.” heh.
Do you think they will screen it again? I hope so since I was outta town and thought I had missed it!
I asked them but they said they didn’t know and to check the site. I hope they do show it. I had to rent the DVD after missing it and had forgotten how good it was.
