Happy Shopping Day! I Heart U!

You seem a little glum, Caro. Did someone let you down?
Me? Naw. Just not feeling V-Day this year. Not even to throw a party or anything, which I usually do.
hey…can you please do a post on what to do for v-night if ur single…thanks, love your blog
Caroline,
Even though I think V-Day is highly over rated and just a major set up for disappointment… I sincerely hope you do have happy valentines tomorrow.
Ari, ohhhh…i’ll seee what I can come up with…I guessssss. Can you tell I’m whining?
robert dean, awww thanks! You, too, sweetie!
Peeps, some single girlfriends and I are going to the King’s Head for pub trivia on Vday. They do it every Wednesday, and I’m pretty sure they will tomorrow (we’re calling them to comfirm before we go down). It’s a lot of fun and we figured couples wouldn’t be there, hopefully just a bunch of fun uncouples who like beer and pop culture.

Yeah, see i was hoping for more of a list of events/venues for singles on the prowl looking to drink their sorrows away :) i guess movies and shopping works for some
Ari, there’s a bunch of things to do. Like Hamburger Mary’s is having a special V-Day bingo night and there are actually cute straight guys who go to those. Bigfoot Lodge is having a special Lonely Hearts Club London Calling night with drink specials….I’ll try and throw something together tonight.
Love is a series of ‘darlings’ and ‘dearies,’
Of ‘honeys,’ and ‘sweeties’ and sugared entreaties.
Of moonings, and swoonings, and cooings and billings
All tempered, of course, by occasional killings.
