I cant believe I havent been to this place yet. I live just around the corner. I was wondering why theres tons of drunk people stumbling around the Bank of America parking lot and nearby streets late at night. I’ll definitely check it out.

I agree, this place has been a steady go-to option for me since it re-opened as the Cha Cha late last year. Apparently the photos of the busty ladies embedded in the tables are actual photos of regulars who used to frequent the joint when it was Le Bar. According to one of Cha Cha’s bartenders, it used to be a good ol’ tranny bar with a burlesque cabaret motif.

OH yeah, you forgot to mention the everpresent mural featuring a very lifelike two dimensional Willie Nelson reminding you it’s time for another bourbon. Agreed that there *never* seems to be a line, I think people get thrown off by the constant mass of smokers on the sidewalk — also, it’s a serious bitch to find parking on Glendale, but if you’re lucky, there’s a spot for you in Cha Cha’s less-than-10 car parking lot.

From what I understand, the owner of Seattle’s Cha Cha Lounge jumped on the space knowing that his many friends who had relocated to Silver Lake were in need of a cool place and would be happy to run it.
