Tickets for Goldfrapp at the Wiltern on March 11th went on sale this morning via the Internet. That’s right, if you were waiting to stand in line at a Ticketmaster on Friday at noon and wanted Loge seats, you are out of luck. Loge (at least seats together) is sold out. But single seats in FF, the last row of Loge, are still available as of this writing.
There apparently are ample general admission spaces on the floor available as well as mezzanine tickets. So go to Ticketmaster to purchase your tickets and enter “Goldfrapp” for the promo code.
Let me know if you’re going and interested in grabbing a drink at the Bounty after.

I’M IN LOVE WITH A GOLDFRAPP MACHINE! I’m like a dog to get TIX! WOOT!
You know, the fucked up thing about the sale of tix for Goldfrapp online weren’t even announced on the duo’s website or mailing list. I had to find out via a friend a week after they were sold, and subsequently sold out. Does anyone have 2(two) tix available for sale? I’m willing to pay up to double the price of the original fare for them, plus the other charges.

We are so excited to see them. I’ve never been to the Wiltern before. Where is a good place to go before/after?
Eric, have you tried eBay? http://search.ebay.com//search/search.dll?from=R40&satitle=goldfrapp+wiltern
Anthony, I’m really not crazy about the Wiltern. The seats are small. I think in the 1930s people must have been a lot smaller in stature. And now I hear that there actually is no reserved seating for this concert so it’s first-come first-serve on all levels, not just the general admission floor. Sucks!
As for where to go before and after, I’d say 6:30 dinner at Luna Park on La Brea and then drinks at the HMS Bounty after the concert. I think that’s where we’ll be going since I’m sure we’ll still be wired from the concert. Yay!
Thanks. I will definitely check out the Bounty. Where is the best place to park for the show?
Parking? Since I usually hate contending with post-concert traffic, I try finding parking on the street. Quite a feat around the Wiltern but it IS possible. Just takes diligence and an eagle eye.
“Lovely Head” was incredible!
